A's turn into C's
It's back to school time and everyones really excited. So you have your first class. You find the classroom easily (with the help of your schedule and your map of the school) and the tension in your stomach eases a little. You meet your teachers and everything seems fine. For homework, you have to write a two page essay about the expectations you have for the school year in Language Arts. In Social Studies, you have to make a poster about yourself to show to the class; and in Spanish, you have to write out the vocabulary words that your teacher gave you with the english versions. Pretty much all aspects of school include PAPER. If you write a nice and long essay, you would probably get an A or an A+. But A's turn into C's. C's as in CO2. Try to at least use recycled paper or alternative paper for your school work. (There is a company that makes notebooks that are made out of recycled bananas.) And if you get the chance to clean out your binders or folders sometime in the school year, only recycle papers that are completely used up. Save the ones that only have a couple words on them. If your teachers say that it's not OK to use those papers, use them for the things for school that only you will see and use. Like note paper, drawing paper, or rough draft paper. You could also use them for the things at home. Like to-do lists, chore lists, or just loose paper.
